A few questions for Freepers and Teabaggers (edited)

1. Did you see the opening ceremony at the Coca-Cola 600?

2. If you did, were you moved by the bagpipes playing
"Amazing Grace" in honor of our fallen warriors? I was.

3. Did you get something in your eyes when the bugler
played "Taps"? I did.

4. Were you wowed when the B-2 flew over the track
during the National Anthem? I certainly was.

You see, we love our Country as much as you, and judging
from you actions and words, maybe much more. We honor the
sacrifices of our military men and women. And do everything
we can to assure that, someday, one Soldier, Sailor, Airman
or Marine will be the very LAST sacrifice. All you seem to
want is more cannon fodder and endless sacrifice.

So, my last question is:

5. Who are the REAL Americans?
I await your answer, but I'm not holding my breath.

To our fallen heroes:

:patriot:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1195170

Well, being the really hardcore white trash that I am, I'm more of an NHRA guy myself. You know, drag racing. In all my knuckle-dragging-ness I don't have the attention span to enjoy a good oval track race. So no, I didn't catch the festivities on the tube.

But thank you for tooting your own horn and sharing how tearful and moved you were over the...what is it your kind call it? Oh yes, jingoistic displays of patriotism.

I enjoy your perspective because, unlike you, I actually served. That's probably an anomaly, because we all know how few conservatives serve in the military. That must be true because I hear it all the time at DU, how Republicans are chickenhawks and won't enlist themselves, which naturally leads one to the conclusion that most soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines are flaming liberals. Thank you all for your service.

It's nice to know that after all these years of calling for disbanding the military, implying that servicemen and women only enlist because they're too dumb to know better or can't get a job anywhere else or are only in it for the benefits, calling them murderers, babykillers, sadists, psychopaths, animals, torturers, neanderthals, homophobes, war criminals, mindless sheeplike robots, brainwashed, socialists (for drawing a salary from the public), and fundies (as if that's a bad thing) that you can be "wowed" at the sight of an airborne B-52.

Oh, I forgot. You did have a couple of military heroes. Dan Choi for his fearless fight to suck dicks freely and Bradley Manning for compromising a quarter-million pieces of classified data in a fit of rage over perceived slights from the Army. If they don't get their own memorials on the Washington Mall it'll be a damn shame.

So yes indeed, you are REAL Americans. Real American sacks of shit.

I don't want...anybody else
When I think about me I touch myself

Why would you ask that question at a board we're not allowed to post at? why not register here, which you're free to do, and ask that question.

Hello liberaltrucker. So you folks love America and the troops now? Maybe, but I tend to think the a leopard can't change its spots. I'm too busy watching the race right now to research you claims, but let's climb into the VRWC wayback machine and revisit an episode of the FlippyDoo show that was originally posted at CU in 2007. I think it was also posted here in the last 2 or 3 years but as I said I'm watching the race.

---------------------

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Cuers of all ages, it’s my honor and privilege to introduce to you today the spirit guide with humorous side. He’s part pigeon and part Irish Setter. He points out the good and poops on the bad.  He’s the one, the only, FLIPPY DOOooo!!!!!

Flippy Doo: Hello guys. It’s good to be here today. Since we’re coming up on the birthday of our great nation, the greatest nation to ever grace the face of the earth, I thought it would be interesting to get some opinions from folks on the other side of the political aisle today. Yes, today we are going to be getting some info from several members of that wonderfully entertaining website, the Democratic Underground.

Flippy Doo: So tell me Duers, with the 4th approaching how do you feel about America?

Vidar: Personally, I hate it

Xchrom: i don't love the whole cult of america -- nationalistic bullshit

Tierra_y_Libertad: I find the whole concept of "love of country" rather silly. At best.

Flippy Doo: Wow, that’s some pretty strong language. I would imagine that most Americans would disagree with you.

Undeterred: Most people are idiots.

rhett o rick: I would say lazy over stupid.

MuseRider: Some are but I really think that most are intellectually lazy, find someone they think they can trust to think for them and then go about their busy lives. Well, on second thought, that IS stupid. Nevermind.

Flippy Doo: Well, don’t you think that broad brushing the American people like that is somewhat wrong?

cboy4: Is it wrong for me to not give a crap if an out of control bus plows into Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia standing on a sidewalk after another one of their partisan rulings? I mean, I think I would be happy. I would feel joyful. But this must be an inappropriate emotion??? I just don't know.

Flippy Doo: Hmmm, in my mind it is wrong.

Big Kahuna: Out of control busses happen. It is the circle of life. Rejoice!

Flippy Doo: Let’s try to get away from this hatred for a minute and discuss the administration. What is your opinion of the President’s recent appointee, Tony Snow?

Antifaschits: He looks ill.

Sinkingfeeling: What happens when you sell your soul to the devil.

Nimrod2005: I am hoping cancer is eating his heart out, or other parts of his body from the inside outward –

Flippy Doo: Now that’s just not nice. Look guys, there are stories going around that a lot of you guys are sort of hate filled. What I’m looking for is evidence to present to the world that you are actually just normal folks who are maybe just a bit too passionate about things at times, but you’re not really helping me out here. I tell you what…mothers are a good thing and helping children is a good thing so let’s talk about the President’s mother. She’s been reading to sick children in the hospital. Surely you can see some good in that?

Latebloomer: It CAN'T be good for sick children to be exposed to an evil old bat like her!

Flippy Doo: ARRGGGH!!! Okay, okay, let’s just get away from political people all together. We’re coming up on the 4th. Our brave military has fought for about 230 years to protect our freedom and help make this country what it is today. Regardless of whether or not we agree on the Iraqi war issue, surely we can agree that our soldiers deserve our respect and appreciation as we near this patriotic holiday.

Gaspee: Nope. I don't support anyone who joined the military after an illegal war was launched.

Flippy Doo: Ahh, come on now! We wouldn’t be the leader of the free world if not for the very soldiers that you refuse to support!

LibFromWV: Whaaaa? The military is only necessary because we are idiots. We can't solve problems without hitting each other like a damn bunch of little babies. Necessary? Not if people actually had a brain cell or two.

Flippy Doo: Actually I don’t think that the terrorists in the insurgency really cares how many brain cells you have. They just want you dead.

coalition_unwilling: Please stop calling them an "insurgency" -- they're a legitimate and justified Resistance

Flippy Doo: Well, do you think that their beheading of innocents is also legitimate and justified?

Leesa: Here we go with the beheading hysteria again. It is a quick way of killing in the Middle East and possibly far less tortuous than imprisonment for years without charges and frequent beatings

Flippy Doo: Heaven help us!!! You folks are absurd. You really DO come off as being full of hatred. What exactly is wrong with you people?!?!

BareNakedLiberal: We are all suffering a collective nervous breakdown.

Tace: I Often Think That Historians Will Point To Drugs As Our Problem

Flippy Doo: Whatever it is, keep your anti-American hatred away from me. That’s all I can stomach for tonight folks. Thanks for tuning in. I wish all of you who actually love and appreciate our country a happy and safe 4th of July. God Bless America.

Disclaimer: Although the quotes shown above were actually made by DUmmies Flippy Doo is a FICTIONAL spirit guide and as such has not in actuality interviewed any DUmmies.

--------------------

Still think your ilk is a patriotic bunch liberaltrucker? Would you really like to introduce your DU friends to the folks that are attending the race? In person and face to face?
Fictional spirit-guiding by appointment.

For new members and lurkers: I am a fictional spirit-guide with no smell whatsoever. I am part irish setter and part pigeon. If you don't smell any strange smells it means I'm probably standing next to you. As I am a fictional character anything I post should possibly be considered fictional.

Try posting that somewhere where us knuckle dragging teabagging freepers can answer you.

Quote
1. Did you see the opening ceremony at the Coca-Cola 600?
Isn't Coca Cola an evil corporation?

Quote
2. If you did, were you moved by the bagpipes playing
"Amazing Grace" in honor of our fallen warriors? I was.
I would think a hymn would piss you off, you know separation of church and state.

Quote
3. Did you get something in your eyes when the bugler
played "Taps"? I did.
It wasn't tears, it was cheeto dust.

Quote
4. Were you wowed when the B-2 flew over the track
during the National Anthem? I certainly was.
I would think the war machines with a huge carbon footprint would piss you off.
Think of how many freeloaders poor people could have been fed with the money that paid for the airplane.

Quote
5. Who are the REAL Americans?
I await your answer, but I'm not holding my breath.
No contest of course you are the real Americans. The people who on a regular basis say how much they hate this country and want to basically return to living under the crown (they get free healthcare and stuff) are the true patriots.
Plus, you cartoon character, we are not allowed to answer you at DU.
I won't be holding my breath for you to sign up here and pose these questions.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

So you care about them so much you want to stop a warrior from doing what he loves? Why is it you people think "honoring" the military means never allowing them to use their training & skills to help others? As the mother of a Marine, I can tell you he absolutely LOVES his job and doesn't appreciate all you leftist pieces of shit working hard to defund the military and take away his job. Maybe someday you can honor them by getting to know a few of them and learn why they do what they do. Oh, you ever want to lecture us on compassion and patriotism again, have the ****ing balls to come over here and do it. But then, you never intended to do that did you? All you wanted was to receive a few pats on the back from the echo chamber from all the other holier than thou asshats.

Can I just add...

Why do the DUmmies all of a sudden support the military around holidays such as Memorial Day?  I don't see any of these "call out" threads any other time of the year.

Good for you for supporting the military.  Everyone should.  No matter where you stand in the political field.  You should thank them every single day of the year.  Don't wait for a holiday.

A few questions for Freepers and Teabaggers (edited)

1. Did you see the opening ceremony at the Coca-Cola 600?
Yep, I was there.  I heard the 82nd Airborne chorus sing before the actual ceremonies.  Did YOU?
Quote
2. If you did, were you moved by the bagpipes playing
"Amazing Grace" in honor of our fallen warriors? I was.
If you were "moved", as you said, it was probably gas, since hymns to a liberal are like garlic to vampires.
Quote
3. Did you get something in your eyes when the bugler
played "Taps"? I did.
I was more moved by the acknowledgement of certain members of the Armed Forces for bravery "above and beyond" the call of duty.  Those guys looked almost embarrassed to be there.

No mention of Lee Greenwood singing "God Bless the USA".
Quote
4. Were you wowed when the B-2 flew over the track
during the National Anthem? I certainly was.
Almost as much as seeing the F-18's fly over Bristol, or the Blue Angels fly over Martinsville, or a B-1B fly low and slow over my house.
Quote
You see, we love our Country as much as you, and judging from you actions and words, maybe much more.
I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Quote

By advocating cutting the Defense budget, installing the openly gay in the general ranks, and belittling and berating the CinC if he happens to have a (R) instead of a (D) after his name.
Quote
All you seem to want is more cannon fodder and endless sacrifice.
There would be less "cannon fodder" if you DUmbasses would let the military actually DO what it is trained to do.  KILL PEOPLE AND BREAK THINGS!  Instead, you scream "WAR CRIMES!" every time some snot-nosed kid with a suicide belt and an AK-47 gets sent to his, hers, or its "paradise".

So, my last question is:

5. Who are the REAL Americans?

To our fallen heroes:

:patriot:
My question is this.

I've driven trucks for over 20 years of my life.  In those 20 years, I have YET to actually meet a "liberaltrucker", mainly because they don't exist.
You are a liar and a fraud.
Murphy's 3rd Law:  "You can't make anything 'idiot DUmmie proof'.  The world will just create a better idiot DUmmie."

Liberals are like Slinkys.  Basically useless, but they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Global warming supporters believe that a few hundred million tons of CO2 has more control over our climate than a million mile in diameter, unshielded thermo-nuclear fusion reactor at the middle of the solar system.

"A dead enemy is a peaceful enemy.  Blessed be the peacemakers". - U.S. Marine Corp

Hey liberaltrucker!  Why not just do the world, America in particular, a huge favor and link hands with your fellow DUmmies and hold your collective breaths.  Now everyone keep holding that last breath until Der $kimmer allows conservatives onto his precious website to reply to these ridiculous callout threads without the immediate granite cookie being lowered.  Guess that'll be the last seen of a good many of you.

Who are the REAL Americans?
I await your answer, but I'm not holding my breath.

When you testicles finish dropping, feel free to let go of $kinners apron strings, come on over here, register, and ask the same question.

"We honor the
sacrifices of our military men and women."
You "Honor" them by showering them with such terms of endearment as "Mercenaries," "Monsters," "Imperialists," "Fascists," "Murderers," "Baby- Killers," "Nazis," and at least a dozen others that escape me at the moment.

BTW, I failed to mention the spontaneous outbreak behind me of about a thousand or so people chanting "USA, USA, USA" right after the B-2 flyover at the Coca-Cola 600.

Bet you didn't hear about that one, did you DUmmie lyingliberaltrucker.  How does that make you feel, considering W.R.Pitt's skreed about the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team.

ASSHOLES!  Every f***ing one of you!   :bigbird:

I wonder if DUmbass liberaltrucker realizes that the crowd he praised at the Coca-Cola 600 voted for the jug-eared Kenyan at about a 10 to 12% rate, at most. He was in a crowd composed overwhelmingly of freepers. He should have caught on when they stood and removed their caps for the National Anthem.
