It's an old campfire, but still at the top of the page.

If you're liberal/progressive, and are thinking of moving,

please, please, consider moving to SC. Maybe one day us liberals will outnumber the Conservatives/Republicans. We need some people here who don't think "union" is a bad word, and the heck of it is the people who think that are often those who would be helped by a union.

1. Hi Raccoon, Why did I think you lived in Maine?

If SC was not so far from my family...and I wasn't so old, I'd move to SC in a heartbeat. Housing for me would be a lot cheaper, the whole cost of living a lot more reasonable. It will not happen but I know the state is a wonderful place to live.

3. South Carolina

Sorry, my brother and family live there, and it is less expensive, but I would never live there, and I'm from Texas, another one of the more embarrassing states to be from. it's going to take many more generations for the South to get over losing the Civil War. The racial attitudes are so pervasive. I see some hope for North Carolina, however. The Triangle area, (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill) is a great area I've heard a lot positive things about.

South Carolina has lots of new industry, even during these dark days of the Oconomy. As you drive through the state, you see a new factory every few miles, sometimes clusters of new factories in state-sponsored industrial parks. These sights cause democrats to be deeply saddened. If only South Carolina could be thoroughly infested with labor unions, those southern workers could be as prosperous, secure, and respected as Michigan autoworkers.

Stupid DUmmies. I don't get the idea of having the political bent of an area be the only criteria when it comes to moving somewhere. Personally, that's not important. I look at jobs, cost of living, climate, education and recreation opportunities. Screw the politics. Mostly. I wouldn't live in Cali, but generally it's not a big deal. Sure, there are some things I don't like about Washington State, but I'd live there again in a heartbeat, cause the shit I look for far outweighs the negatives. But that's just me.

Matter of fact, stay the **** away from ALL red states. We don't want you here. You've already ****ed up your own damn states, we don't want to become a Washington, Oregon, or Colorado. ....and we have a lot of acreage and woodlands for people to "get lost in".

Damn, we should have saved a few of those old KKK signs. They wouldn't have needed much to bring them up to date.

Dear DUmmorrhoids, please stay in the states you've already ruined, especially California.  In fact, a lot of us in Red, 'Bellwether' or modestly-Blue states would appreciate it very much if more of you would move there now, you know, to show your support for Governor Moonbeam...?

If I was still in business, we could put them in pond dams. It has been done before but the FBI couldn't check them all...could they?

The DUmmies are especially fond of picking on the southern states for being "racist." They don't realize that in the heyday of southern racism, the south was ALL democrats. Now that republicans have been taking over the south, the racist elements are being driven out.

Of course, in the DUmmies minds, they see an expectation for a person to get a job and improve their socio-economic position as "racist" whereas keeping people fat and happy on the gov't tit is compassion. DUmmies don't understand that welfare queens come in all colors and shapes.

Well, predominantly one shape, but you get my meaning.

We regret to inform all you primitives that the South is all filled up. Please take a number and sit on the group W bench and we will let you know if a spot opens up.
Hope you brought a lunch because it may be a while.

North Carolina, better known as the half back state, is a good example of democrats moving into a area and destroying it.

North Carolina is Blue and Michigan is Red. The stars are all screwed up. What next?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

::)

The political bent of an area is so important to them for several reasons.

Firstly they want to be sure that there is a adequate supply of weed and like minded individuals to sit about and talk to while smoking it.

Second is that politics plays such an important part of their life that they would find it impossible to live amongst or socialise with people not of the same political persuasion.

You wanna see how a governor is supposed to govern, "Like" Nikki Haley's FB page. This awesome woman updates her page constantly every day. Jobs are coming in by the thousands to SC. Here's her recent:

Quote
"South Carolina has had to fight this administration on multiple issues," Haley said. "We are fighting them on health care. We are fighting them on being able to create jobs. It is absolutely ludicrous that we are now fighting the fact that we can't even enforce our own illegal immigration laws." Post and Courier 5/28/11

http://www.facebook.com/NikkiHaley

Since following her, I would NOT be opposed to her running for President one day. Matter of fact, I'd be one of her main supporters.
