Some of you may find this interesting. This image is known as a solargraph and is the result of a 6 month long exposure.
The lines in the sky are the paths the sun made each day and the gaps are from days/times when in was overcast.
This type of image "burns" into a piece of photographic paper and is then scanned, inverted and touched up in photoshop (no developing). This is one of a few I did and I'll post a few more when I get them done.
This was at our now defunct military base and was put up on the summer solstice.
