Actually, she's always been--at least for many years if not all years--a dark horse for the top twenty, the darkest possible horse, a pony even, but if she can pull off three or four similar stunts the next seven months, she might break into the top half of the bottom ten of the top twenty.
It was a nice stunt, a very nice stunt. But I'll bet the enigmatic Elad is pissed at her. After six long years on Skimmer's shit list for humiliating the DUmp with the Andyscam, he finally had a chance at vindication. All he had to do was spend one weekend sitting at the vast DUmp control panel, tweaking knobs and moving sliders just a fraction, watching all the blasphemy gauges and adjusting the lunacy pressure relief valves just so.
Meanwhile, Skimmer, his boss and role model, could have a relaxing weekend getaway with cbayer the thread slayer, a brief respite from the crushing responsibility of 24/7 DUmp supervision. Come Monday morning, the shame DUmmy Elad has lived with for six years would evaporate, as Skimmer returned, gave Elad a manhug and a high-five, and resumed his place in the plush, high-backed, leather-upholstered, smoothly swivelling, pneumatically-cushioned DUmp captain's chair, refreshed, tanned and ready to resume control. The enigmatic Elad could look forward to a small raise in pay, a tiny trace of respect from Skimmer, and maybe even a little relief from the Lord Marblehead's constant mocking derision.
Instead, the stupid h8lifter picked this weekend, of all weekends, to pull her stupid callout stunt. Elad, consumed by critical decisionmaking in his Farmville life, overlooked her thread, never noticing the blink, blink, blink, blink of the red "illegal thread" warning light. For hours, the thread raged out of control, breaking every DUmp rule and every Skimmer commandment, over and over.
At last, Skimmer himself, having been alerted by someone civilized and decent enough to care about DUmp propriety, came charging back into the DUmp control room. He violently shoved the enigmatic Elad aside, and slammed down on the "flush thread" lever. Elad may never recover.
At least I think that's what happened.
