As we deforast our areas that have sat for thousands of years, in the earth, these diseases from by gone ages will pop up.
Our South west is an example of this. People plowing area find a long gone animal under the soil. This dead animal may have died of anthrax and now that the soil around it is exposed to sun light and oxygen spreads like wild fire to the Prairie dogs, rats, mice and what ever is warm blooded. --Not to mention the humans that dug it up.
China is making ways into land that has never been used from the start of humane time. As the land is cleared who knows what bacteria, viruses have been hibernating for thousands of years in the soil just waiting for the Sun and oxygen to bring them to life again.
We humans have no natural immunity to these strange bacteria and viruses, they are so old before humans came that they are a big problem for us now. These very viruses may have had a hand in killing off the dinosaur ------ the bones are so prevalent in parts of China.
Take a hint to those that find ancient tombs in Egypt and elsewhere in the world. Before the tombs are opened the scientists wear oxygen tanks so as to not breath the air.
