When the British SAS liberated the Iranian embassay in London 31 years ago today it took them 11 minutes. Assuredly the embassay is much larger and complex than UBL's hideout.
I'm sure much of what the operators on the ground were doing was wrapping up prisoners for transport and grabbing anything of intel value.
But we're also told now that (conveniently) there was a 25 minute blackout of the video feed.
Mayhap UBL was taken alive initially and there was an intercontinental debate as to his fate?
Would revealing the photo reveal unpleasant facts?

This lapse of time, is going to become an issue.
Like we were talking about in another thread (maybe the binLaden is dead one) .... Obama and his MBofI's came out with a so-called formal announcement, Sunday night, loaded with "facts" that are turning out to not be quite as factual as were presented at the time.
Here we are finding out there was a 25 minute lapse...that's a whole lot of time when they were only on the ground from start to finish for 40 minutes. And it's just more ammunition (pun intended) for all of those who either doubt OBL's death, complain that he is dead, or complain about how it was done.
Personally, I only care that the SOB is dead. I don't care if he was in the middle of doing the Wild Thing and bare-ass nekid when he was shot. I DON'T CARE if he was unarmed, armed to the teeth, pulled a woman or child in front of him to protect him. I just care that he's dead....and that the SEALS are sure they got the right SOB, .... AND I DO CARE that the identity of those SEALS is not revealed for the next 50 years!!
I also DO care, that if the SOB wasn't dumped off the fantail of the Carl Vinson ... that the media NEVER finds out that he wasn't. However, we all know that if more than 2 people know a secret, chances are someone will "leak" the secret or enough information that if someone else is really interested in digging deep enough, they will find out the secret.
With all these new "facts" emerging...Obama and his MBofI's are putting themselves deeper into a situation of more and more questions and doubt about the entire mission.
