"Can Obama now win in Alabama?"

Quote
Lets face facts W. had seven years to get Osama and failed.

Obama got 'em in two.

Is Obama going to win in Alabama as a result?

If not can you think of any other state he didn't win last time that he may win this time?

One dead terrorist does not an election win make.

"Obama got 'em in two."

Oh, fer ****'s sake!  As if everything that GWB did in those 7 years was wiped away on January 20, 2009, and Obama was working from a clean slate.

Nixon got men on the moon in LESS than two years.

Obama is still a communist that is ruining the country so, NO.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Her thought process is far too shallow to really deal with anything beyond "Ummmmm, NO!"

I don't think Bush or Obama deserve much credit for capturing Osama, seeing as all they do when it comes to military action is give loose orders; the real credit goes to the commanders, strategists and soldiers fighting for us everyday.

Shouldn't we regard our presidents for their domestic policies first, seeing as their supposed to lead our country to improvement and prosperity before they lead it into war?
Let's make it happen.

Nixon got men on the moon in LESS than two years.

And when he did, he gave ample credit to John Kennedy, who inspired the idea, and got it started.

Nixon obviously had more class than the current president.

That right there is reason enough for Obama to lose the next election.

I can see why people would conclude he's not the greatest president in terms of accomplishments, but what I'm concerned about is people voting for him in 2012 simply because he happened to be president when Osama was assassinated. Regardless if I personally support him, I don't think anyone should vote until they have a solid understanding of each candidates accomplishments, priorities, and potential.

Only in a perfect world, though.
Let's make it happen.

People mainly vote with their pocketbooks. If someone comes along and presents an attitude of pride, a philosophy of America's best days are ahead of us, that we're still that shining city on the hill and has ideas that free the American people from the ridiculous, economy killing policies of this administration (because he owns it now...he's got to be adult enough to accept the responsibility for reaping what he's sown), he'll lose in a landslide of Carter proportions.

I voted for Nixon in my first Presidential election. I would do so again.

Nixon took us off the gold standard. Hell no.

When compared with the Big Zero--or even the Impeached One or the Incompetent One--I'd vote for Richard Nixon in a heartbeat.
