The official said a 12-year-old daughter of bin Laden was among the six children rescued from the three-storey compound.

The daughter has reportedly told her Pakistani investigators that the US forces captured her father alive but shot him dead in front of family members. 



According to sources, Bin Laden was staying on the ground floor of the house and was dragged on the floor to the helicopter after being shot dead by US commandos.

It's a huge bonfire. He's dead and that's good.  Now, Obama needs to say whether this was a "kill" mission or not.  If he gave the order, then take the heat and don't leave it up for speculation.

Even if it was true, it wouldn't bother me a bit, he earned it.  And as resolutions go, it beats the shit of watching Holder screw the pooch on how to handle a living OBL for the next year.

Meh, probably nothing more than an appeal to the true believers to rise up and riot. Seems to me like the reaction in the ME to this has been one giant shoulder shrug outside a few small exceptions such as Hamas.

A two year old! I am glad they had no room to take these women and children to one of our torture chambers. And glad the Pakistanis have not allowed US officials near them. I hope it remains that way and those children are kept safe from US officials. We torture children too, it should be remembered.

This is not the change I was hoping for. I feel sick for some reason. What has any of this accomplished? He was hardly even relevant anymore and as for political gains here, Republicans will never vote for this president and many progressives who opposed these kinds of brutal tactics when Bush was president, are likely to become totally disenchanted with this president as a result of this.

I wonder when they were all watching the killings on video, did they see the little children there? Did they think of their own should this happen to them?

Fox has been reporting since mid morning when I tuned in that he was captured then shot like it was a known fact. I didn't hear anything about it being the word of a 12 yo.

I see right now Barry has decided not to release the pics to prove he's dead. I knew he wasn't dead. Where have we hidden him?

I'm surprised Eric Holder isn't chomping at the bit to prosecute the SEAL team then.  Already some douche at the UN human rights thingy is demanding to know precise facts. 

Some caller on a radio show was sure that a faction from libtard world is going to be calling for the SEAL team's heads.  And this, lurking DUmmies, is why America hates liberals.  The majority of the populace/electorate does not think like you do, no matter what you wish.

This is what REALLY happened during the raid on Osama's compound.
 A freeper posts this from a, wait for it, friend of a friend. And they are buying it over there as being plausible and a possibility.


This arrived in my in box, forwarded from a friend of a friend. I rewrote it and reworded it, to protect the chain of information. Some of you may know I was an officer in the Teams a few decades back. I still have contacts among the active duty community, and former frogs who are now working "in country" as security contractors.

Here's what really happened. OBL was taken down on the third floor, that's true. He was cornered and then jacked up. He was then, deliberately in front of hysterical witness, shot in the face and head with red 9mm paintball "simunitions" out of an MP5. Real blood was thrown around for effect. In the crazy glare of battle lights it all looked quite realistic, and the witnesses will go to their graves believing they saw OBL killed in front of them. But that didn't happen.

He was stunned, knocked out with a hand taser, then hooded and bagged and dragged out to the helos. Then a dummy was "buried at sea" in his place, no photos are going to be released, and here we are. The world believes OBL is dead, so the agency and foreign interrogators don't have to be gentle with him during his prolonged "debriefing" in a secret safehouse prison with only one guest. This was their "best case scenario" among the options confronting them depending on the amount of resistance encountered in the compound and the house. They achieved their optimal goal, the "jackpot." OBL is alive and under interrogation in a secret safehouse, and the world believes he's dead.

I think the Blackbeard treatment would have been appropriate.  Kill him in front of his family, chop his head off, hang it in a net from the bow of the USS Cole, and have the Cole make port calls in every muslim port in the region.

NOT giving Osama the Che treatment would have been foolish for the same reasons it would have been foolish to bring in Che.

Obama already had his political ass handed to him vis-a-vis a civilian trial. There was no way he was going to do that.

Even in Gitmo the very debater about how evidence was collected leading to his capture could be challenged by Obama's friends in the ACLU. Obama would still have the waterboarding issue as he does now but he'd have the Ramsey Clarkes and Lynn Stewarts of the world hocking to the UN and ICC.

Put a bullet in him, claim it was a fair fight and dump the body had the lowest potential for fallout. UBL's daughter can be dismissed as biased while no one in the US will give a shit because A) they're patriots of B) they're hyper-partisan ****tards on Obama's side.


Of course every last tenant of the Big Liberal Guide to Why We Hate Bush, has been shattered. If McCain had called this op the media and political accolades would be absent.

Only Nixon could go to China.
