Pakistan to Cut U.S. Military Presence After Bin Laden Raid

Pakistan is calling for cuts in the U.S. military personnel inside the country after U.S. Navy SEALs killed Usama bin Laden in his Pakistan compound -- without Pakistan's help or prior knowledge.

The siege has only increased the strain on relations between the two countries, as some U.S. lawmakers are calling for cuts to the $1.3 billion in U.S. aid to Pakistan for its failure to locate bin Laden. The Al Qaeda leader was found and killed in a large $1 million compound in an army town not far from the capital of Islamabad. Lawmakers have suggested Pakistan was either too incompetent to catch bin Laden or was complicit in protecting him.

Last I read, official military aid to Pakistan ('Land of the Pure') was 2 Billion USD per year.

Now Pakistan's biggest ally is China. And you know China is reverse-engineering that stealth helicopter as we speak.
It was a tragedy that we lost it.

The Soviets designed weapons to destroy the US. But it never stole jobs by the millions or tried to subvert the US economy. It couldn't.
But China is manufacturing missiles to destroy US aircraft carriers. It is taking US jobs by the hundreds of thousands or millions, by keeping
its currency artificially low (and the US currency artificially high in relation to its currency). And it is launching regular cyber-attacks against the
US military and its civilian government.

Now - its troops are in Pakistan and it is buying large swathes of influence there. Why are we even trading with them?

Pakistan is the enemy of the US in South Asia. It funds & arms the Taliban - with our money.

my worst fear is Pakistan may have given the ragheads plans to build a bomb. BL was not getting a sun tan there for 5 years. or more. add to if Pakistan implodes the ragheads get it all anyway.
