Sunday night...Obama either should have left it to the news programs to say OBL was dead, and the WH should have waited until they had ALL the facts before Obama went out before the world without the correct information. Or Obama should have gone before the world, and said OBL was dead as of 9pm on May 1,2011 (or whatever), killed by US military personnel and said that AFTER the SEAL team had been debriefed, the details would be released to the public.
Instead, he went out unprepared...and now for the 3rd day, he and his merry band of idiots are retracting and/or changing what Obama originally said on Sunday night, and now they can't figure out how to look competent and confident in the release of pictures of a dead OBL and any further reports on the mission.
Obama and his MBofI's were so intent on letting the world know what THEY had accomplished, they went about it half-assed .... all the while assuring the world that OBL got a proper Muslim funeral ....and now they are trying to cover their asses, as it's coming out, that the mission was not as they touted it to be.
If they had just waited until they had their ducks in a row - so to speak - half these questions wouldn't be asked. One of which I have wondered....just how did they get DNA results that quickly, unless the Carl Vinson was given DNA equipment, and someone who knew how to do it, for this mission...if so, then the government needs to say so. Because as it is, too many people are going to question how the DNA was done on a US aircraft carrier...therefore doubting the veracity of the DNA results - or if they were even done.
I do believe that OBL is dead, I do think it was an assassination ( so what?), but I don't think his body was dumped at sea. The dumping at sea, just doesn't ring "true" for me....or that the Carl Vinson, just happened to have a Muslim cleric on board to do a 40 minute funeral service for OBL which is what I heard on CBS last night. If there was one...then I think they should release the video of it.
I don't care if OBL had a proper Muslim sendoff, or that the pics of him being dead are being kept "hidden" so as to not rile up the muslim terrorists and keep them from harming us. It doesn't matter to them!! They already hate us, and the fact that US military coldbloodedly killed OBL, is going to just piss them off even more. Showing or not showing the pictures isn't going to stop them from continuing to try to do Americans harm.
For all we know, they may think Obama is weak because he WON'T release the photos.
One thing is for sure....Obama and his MBofI's look incompetent with all this back and forth changing of the "facts"...that Obama himself said on Sunday night, he wanted to make sure he had all the details before coming before the country to report OBL's death.
