Bin Laden's body is bin sinkin' to the bottom of the ocean, according to the reports.  The rationale is that the US (and the Saudis, who were offered the body) didn't want to create a shrine to the cocksucker.  So, the Navy dumped buried his body at sea.

If I were still drinking, I'd raise a glass to the SEAL squadron that got him.  

Reports are saying that he was asked to surrender before OBL's cohort grabbed a woman and tried to use her as a human shield.  It didn't work, and the woman was killed in the firefight.  Those reports are now saying that OBL's 24-year-old son was killed in the firefight, along with the human shield, OBL, and two others.

Didn't one of the Wikileaks documents say something along the lines of al Qaeda hiding a nuke in Europe somewhere, to be detonated if OBL were ever killed or captured?

This is too convenient. Wouldnt surprise me if Bin Laden was about to expire on his dialysis machine and Stinky decided to send the Marines in there to kill him before he naturally expiated. All for political gain of course.

Now we need to get rid of the corpse posthaste before anyone else starts asking questions.

I don;t think it would matter if he was killed on life support or not.  The message sent to the world is that he was killed by the US. 

Of course this means that terrorism died with him.   We have no more worries, so bring all the troops home and gut that military budget.

Obama will no doubt get a boost for this development, but the timing could not have been better -- still about 16 months out from the election. Far more difficult would've been had this announcement been made on Oct. 30, 2012.

Wonderful news but one thing bothers me...he got a "Muslim" burial. We should have just taken his body and never mentioned what became of it.  You know, he gave his heart and soul to Allah but his ass belongs to us....and the Navy Seals could have used his body in future graduation ceremonies.... :-)

Just for clarity, I'm not sure that the "buried at sea" is Muslim tradition, only that the remains be buried within 24 hours.

And the "buried at sea" stuff was done to keep any gravesite from being a mecca to UBL worshipers. Kinda hard to dig up water......

 What they should not do if possible is name the SEALs as they will become targets.  I also think that in all this ecstasy  over Bin Laden's death we will have to be more alert than ever.
The ragheads will more than likely be looking for revenge. sleeper cells are wide awake. count on it

Yeah that.  After all, George H. W. Bush had a 90% approval rating after Gulf I and still lost the election over mainly economic/taxation issues.  This is great news, but taxes, the cost of goods - especially gas and groceries- and the unemployment rate over the next year and a half is going to have a whole lot more to do with the election than the pleasing demise of this particular POS.

Only very lightly mentioned so far is that apparently the trail that led to this raid started with information about a courier which was 'Coaxed' out of KSM several years ago.  It'll be real interesting to see how that plays out.
