I think McCain would shred him. Actually I think he could shred Hillary too. I'm not as confident about that one though. He's too cozy with her in general. If Barackstar! is the one, then McCain will have to shred him in such a way that doesn't come across at "mean ole whitey" picking on the "up and coming hope and change mixed race embracer of minorities." Oy.

the thought of mccain on the same debate stage as obama used to strike fear into my heart.  it no longer worries me (as much).

it turns out that after the "hope, healing, and unity" well runs dry, there isn't much left in obama's campaign that he seems willing to run on.  and I think he is overly relying on anti-war sentiment and hating GWB simply because he is GWB.

Virtually all of the conservative talk radio hosts this morning are commenting on the fact that the print media is "unhinged" because the magic negro actually was asked some tough questions, and looked like a high school junior in his attempts to answer them.

Based on the clips that I have heard so far, I agree with WE's "gutted like a fish" evaluation.....

McCain should be able to go through either of these clowns like a grenade in a trash can, but the real question is.....will he do it......

I honestly thought they were softballs.  if nothing else, he should have known they would be coming sooner or later, and
have been prepared for them.  that is, if the MSM had not been treating him like a fabulousmessiahrockstardemigod for the
past year.

the presidency ain't cake.

indeed.  the expression on his face of "who are YOU to question ME?!" was unmistakable.

when you are surrounded by sycophants and  yes-men, that is a real danger . . . to say nothing of being surrounded
by people that think you are a messiah-like figure.

I'm waiting for McCain to use this line.." I want you to know that also I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience. If I still have time, I might add, Mr. Trewhitt, I might add that it was Seneca or it was Cicero, I don't know which, that said if it was not for the elders correcting the mistakes of the young, there would be no state."  Ronnie Reagan

there is an ulterior motive to all of this hysterical criticism from the left of the fairly mild questioning of The BarackStar! . . . .

and that is to make sure that wright, flag pins, farrakhan, bitter/clinging, or any other issue that is potentially
insightful into the judgment of His Barackness never, ever, ever comes up again.  at least not until after his
inauguration.    every member of the MSM is watching the outcry, and every member of the MSM is fawning
slave to the opinion of his or her peers in "the business".   no one will step outside of "the lines" with Obama
again.

Won't work though....the alternative media has the ball on this one, and its impact might be minimized, but the cat is out of the bag so to speak......I think that now that there is "blood in the water", the MSM will not be able to protect the magic negro as before.....remember the "Swift Boat Vets", the MSM did everything that they could to discredit them, but once the word was out, it was unstoppable....

that is probably it for the debates.  NC has been canceled.  it looks like the DNC is worried that their front runner took it in the shorts so badly last week.

^isn't that what Her Thighness said a while back too?
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.
-------------------------------------------------

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

and The BarackStar! thanks God that he was spared any more torpedo attacks by hillary.  he was taking on water and listing to port after last weeks debate. :-)
