Cagey Obama Sets an Election Trap for Paul Ryan and the Koch Bros.

http://www.alternet.org/economy/150753/cagey_obama_sets... .

"There's nothing serious about a plan that claims to reduce the deficit by spending a trillion dollars on tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires," Obama continued, as Ryan looked helpless on. "And I don't think there's anything courageous about asking for sacrifice from those who can least afford it and don't have any clout on Capitol Hill. That's not a vision of the America I know."

The Republican was clearly taken aback. "When the president reached out to ask us to attend his speech, we were expecting an olive branch," Ryan told McClatchy Newspapers. "Instead, his speech was excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate to address our fiscal crisis. What we heard today was not fiscal leadership from our commander-in-chief; we heard a political broadside from our campaigner-in-chief."

This is how I want to see this election won... I want a distinction between those who serve the rich vs those who serve the county, and what is best for all it's citizens....

Spending money on tax cuts? Do these people really believe that the govt cuts the million and billionaires a check?
Not raising taxes is not more spending. Even if these goons get their tax increases do you think for a minute they will keep spending under the new amounts of revenue? Hell NO! They will continue spending like they are now and add even more spending then claim we need to tax the rich at an even higher rate.

The answer is so ****ing simple an 8 year old with an allowance could figure it out, you quit spending when the money is gone.

3. This is how it should be run now. The GOP took off the gloves. The Dems should take on their

challenge and form a unified front together with the President.

Like it or not, the polite politics of the past is over, thanks to Delay and Rove.

This is war, and the sooner we understand this fact, the quicker we'll be victorious and put those TeaBaggers, GOP, O'Reilly "Independents", Birthers, Afterbirthers, and miscellaneous other rightwing idiots, in their places - at the bottom of the totem where they'll do the least damage to this country.

When the hell was there polite politics? As long as I can recall the dems have been lying their asses off about the GOP and conservatives.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Cut out the free money to the welfare parasites thus forcing them to get a job and the country could make a big dent in it's deficit.

Raising tax rates on the rich doesn't raise tax revenue.  They simply have their tax lawyers find the loopholes.   :banghead: :banghead:

To a democrat, every penny you take home represents money spent by the government, because they could have taken it from you in taxes, and spent it on something else.

Yeah cuz acting like a snot-nosed brat throwing tantrums, thinking arrogance and condescension are the same as being smarter than everyone else, being too much of a wimpy little ***** to make a decision, and flying off on Air Force One to tape Oprah are real super ways to get reelected.
