The "birthers" are idiots and should be treated as such. They have no right to demand a damn thing from the president. There was a time when these idiots would be ignored. In my opinion the whole republican party that wasn't actively denouncing it and NOT using it for political gain (pretty much none) look like the smug, immature, arrogant pricks.
In MY OPINION, if Obama had released his other cert quickly to appease a small majority or people motivated from things like thinking Palin is god to being mad a black guy is president, would have made HIM look weak and stupid.

And maybe they would have been ignored but as even as someone so cloth-eared as Allentownjake has noted: MS-LSD did most of the birther reporting.
I wish this turd-curler would point to which mainstream GOP contender did use the birther issue. Even Palin and Bachman said "good 'nuff" months ago.
Of course the one regrettable--and sadly forgotten--element is: LTC Terry Lachin who sits in prison, his career destroyed, because the political protege of a murdering terrorist refused to show a common form of ID.
