Already the nut-jobs and tea-baggers and Cave dwellers are grasping at anything and moving the goalpost, just as so many of us said they would. A sampling (I can't provide links, but you know where I found these)...

* The "Mailing Address" line is left blank. Of course, when you supply a street address, the mailing address is unnecessary, but still, they say this is clearly evidence of fraud.

* Also, what about his draft registration? If he didn't register for the draft, then all his student loans and transcripts are also fraudulent. Except, I'm older than Obama, born in 1959...the draft was cancelled shortly after I entered High School. I assume it was for people born in 1961, as well.

* There is no raised seal. They find this "interesting," as someone else posting has a raised seal on his B.C. Clearly more evidence of fraud somehow.

* Obama's mother is listed as being 18 at age of birth (a fact which no one ever denied)...this is more evidence that he is illegitimate.

* There is no space for "Race of Child." They also find this "interesting," that the mother and father's race is indicated, but not the child's. Well, you stupid ****ing morons, if the mother is Caucasian and the father is Caucasian, it would be safe to assume the child was as well. But if the mother was Caucasian and the father was African, uh...the child wouldn't be Caucasian. Why would they need a separate blank for this?

* Of course, they now insist this proves nothing, that he has to provide his college transcripts, too.

Many of them are not "birthers", but they ARE uninformed, and therefore tend to be the most susceptible to the lies that are repeated so often they become "the truth". They'll start by asking things like, "Is there anything to the claims Obama wasn't born here?" And then they'll have some birthers on and give them a platform to spew their lies. Nothing will ever be proven, of course, but the media can just keep "asking questions" to try to plant the seed of doubt.

I gladly accept this as prima facie evidence that he was born in Hawaii to Stanley Ann Dunham Obama (age 18) of Wichita, Kansas, and Barack Hussein Obama (age 25) of Kenya, East Africa, at 7:24 (PM) on August 4th, 1961, neither of which could confer Natural Born status to him to make him eligible to be President of the United States!

I agree.  I have a good friend and both his parents are British subjects living and working here as resident aliens, but he was born here and is a USA citizen.  He's eligible, of that I have no doubt and cannot be convinced otherwise.

My position has been this:  I never really doubted that he was born in Hawaii, but had it turned out he was born outside the borders of the USA and somehow his documents were forged to claim he was a US citizen, it wouldn't have surprised me in the least.  For the political left in this country, anything is fair game to be manipulated and ignored for a possible advantage, and that's especially true of the US Constitution.

I was born in 1958.  I didn't have to register with Selective Services, however, both my brothers, born in 1961 and 1964, had to.
