Racists are terrible people and ones I despise.
But you know what's almost as bad as racists? People that whip out that race card every nanosecond when it's not warranted. It's pathetic and extremely dishonest. And even worse, is it diminishes the acts of REAL racism when it occurs. It's the boy who cried wolf syndrome. When someone cries "racism!" hundreds of times in a row when there is none no one is going to believe them when there actually IS a case of racism.
I knew the race card was going to be played a lot when Obama was elected. I just didn't think it would be this bad.
People who whip out that race card, by definition, practice racism. Invariably, the hue and the cry that goes up by the Sharptons and the Jacksons for perceived injustices favor those same injustices being exhibited toward the other group.
Sharpton, in particular, is an angry man. He carries a chip on his shoulder, just daring Whitey to come along and knock it off. He is nothing more than a vintage 1960's militant black man who is convinced that Whitey must give up what he's earned to give to blacks just because he's angry.
