Was this ever posted here (from 2008)?   Obama likes to play with words when it is politically convenient for him.   His grandfather served in WWII.   His father clearly did no such thing. 

Father, grandfather?  Come on, it's just an innocent slip up right?

I dunno perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue.
Then again he has lied so many times I would be shocked if he said something truthful.

Odds are whoever put the text in the prompter probably made the mistake and typed father instead of grandfather.
That's what happened when he claimed he met Moochelle at that college he was speaking at.
