There is still snow on the ground in late April as Congressman Paul Ryan drives the roads of Wisconsin to pitch his own brand of economic justice. After unveiling his 2012 federal budget two weeks ago, the chairman of the House Budget Committee has returned to his district to conduct 19 town-hall-style meetings

I'd love to see Paul Ryan as VP.  But I'm not sure if he's even interested in that role.

The veep is a nothing gig.

I'd like to see him as Speaker. I think he'd kick ass and take names.

I dunno about DU, but I think that in Cheney's case, GWB kept him pretty well informed and delegated out to him more than many presidents have. In that respect, Cheney wasn't a "nothing" veep -- but Biden sure the hell is.

There's a good article in the current issue of Weekly Standard about his plan, by Yuval Levin.  I love Paul Ryan, he seems like one of the few adults around.

Did you catch king zero scoff at him as "America's accountant" or something like that?  Said with a sneer.  Hey asshat, that's exactly what we need.
