Red Bull is too sweet for me--sickly sweet.  I tried the 5-Hour Energy before . . . drank the whole thing at about 1 PM or so that day.  That night, I glanced up at the projection of the clock on the ceiling and saw that it was after 11 PM, and I was still at 50,000 feet.

Never did 5-Hour Energy since.

I don't do energy drinks.  Maybe I should try them, but diet soda is so much cheaper.

WINNING!

That's me and Diet Dr Pepper

I've never tried any energy drinks. I do very little caffeine...what I do get mostly comes from chocolate.  :-)

My energy drink is slimfast(trying to lose weight). The sugar content is too high in those energy drinks, I would end up in a diabetic coma, :(

Slimfast is really high in carbs, unless you can find the low carb ones. I drink an EAS AdvantageEDGE carb control protein drink every morning. 17g of protein and only 3g net carbs. My favorite is Rich Dark Chocolate ...also comes in vanilla, strawberry and chocolate fudge.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

Aren't those things kind of expensive??

Try the "diet" version of Red Bull sometime. It's not as bad.

I get 4 for $4.22 at Walmart, everywhere else they are $5.96.

I started on them when I started my diet back in July. I'm not good at eating anything first thing in the morning, but I can get one of these down....provided it's very cold. About a month ago, I was out of them (chocolate can be hard to find sometimes) and didn't have one for about 5 days in a row... and I tried substituting a Sprite Zero with a donut...that did NOT work!!! I was starving all day, and had no energy. May be psychological, but the protein drinks just seem to give me energy in the morning -which is not my time of day! - and curb my appetite.

I'd like to try the low carb slimfast , but have only seen strawberry ( :puke: ) at Walmart, and it's too expensive at Krogers.  :(

Mean Bean or Loca Mocha Java Monster

One of each sounds good right now.
