Someone give me the straight story: Is the Japanese meltdown affecting the US?
 
As in, is there radiation that is pouring into our water systems and on our food supplies?

And will using reverse osmosis filter out the deadlies?

until we start dropping like flies and then I'm not so sure they'll tell us anything.
Personally I think we just about have to be getting some of the fallout from ****youshima even all the way to oklahoma and beyond.

On and on it goes.  This is just one thread of many along these lines and we've all seen them. 

I only bring this over for one reason.  The DUmmies OBVIOUSLY worry about our government NOT telling them if there is something bad coming down the pike.  They OBVIOUSLY don't trust our government.  This is THEIR government.

My question(s) to any lurking DUmmies;

Why do you vote against your best interest?

Why should I trust your government to handle; my retirement? my health care?

What about know-it-all nadin and SoCalDem? Even with gallons of canned milk, I expect their bones are already starting to soften up a little. Lots of DUmmies out there on the left edge of the continent who, we can hope, will be severely affected. If they become even more addled as a side effect of all the slowly-lethal radiation they're absorbing, they should become even more entertaining. (I doubt we'll be able to see that effect on poor, stupid Beth. She's already about as addled as possible.)
