Wow, so she would not cut her discretionary income at all and would go pilfer someone else's paycheck? One would think the first order of business would be to cut the extras, pay the necessities, and then if one wanted more they could think of new ways to generate income: a second job for example. Other people's income isn't at her or the federal governments discretion to spend as they will. How this point can be missed is truly beyond me. You don't just say, but I want that new dress and grab your girlfriend's purse.  :banghead:

These people in the EIC do get tax money back. However it is not income tax money for they pay in none. The EIC is their share of the the FICA or social security tax. Which means that these people get a full vesting in SS without paying a dime themselves. There is still the 7.8% paid in by their employer. This along with SSDI is why the SS system paid out more than it took in in 2009 and 2010, a feat that all donks said would not happen until 2027.

I suspect she changes drool buckets and diapers at a nursing home, a "Nurse's Aide" job for which most hospital orderlies would not willingly trade places.
