did to piss me off I was so mad I filed an Automatic Extension of Time to file my taxes, even though I had a small refund coming. If the Repukes shut down the government I think I'll do that again and go to the beach tomorrow instead of working on my taxes. Just a little sand in the gears, not much, but we have so few ways to fight back.

Oh noes !!! You are going to get angry, and stamp your little feet, and give the Republicans more time to earn interest on your money.. That'll learn-em !!!

His taxes probably only take him 10 minutes, I highly doubt he even itemizes.

The only people who are waiting to file are:

1--people who owe.

2--terminally lazy, particularly if they're getting a refund.  Doubly so if they're filing EZ.

C'mon, ****ers.  I had my shit done by this time in JANUARY, and all I had to do is tweak it by $40 when I got my W-2.  Of course, because of the tax bill that got passed at the last possible second, the IRS wouldn't accept my return for a month afterward, but hey, not like it's MY money or anything, right?

If you're getting a refund, filing an extension is well, stupid. The only reason you file an extension is to pay
your estimated tax and see what tax damage can be mitigated by your tax adviser(CPA) in making sure that you're paying the least amount of taxes as possible. It is a money management tool. I seriously doubt the DUmmy is even eligible to file for an extension.

Well, he never said he actually got the extension.  Just that he filed for one.

Dear IRS

I want you to keep my money for a little while longer.  Can I get an extension?  I don't have to pay anything, I will get it all back.  Can I still get my EIC if I wait?

Thanks

You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

Hey, rzemanfl, show them how really pissed off you are, and send the refund back!

That will show them.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
