Why Didn't Republicans Propose $7 Trillion In Cuts When They Were In Charge?
someone tossed this around amongst friends earlier

when republicans had control of the house, senate, and presidency why didn't they try to balance the budget THEN? were they just like, "well the budget surplus isn't high enough and the debt isn't high enough, lets run things up a bit more before we decide to come to jesus." it's like a pimp finding out he has two weeks left to live and goes on a hooker and blow binge before converting on his death bed.

Simple, Joker, we didn't have that sort of debt in the first place.
Seven trill., is your guy's doing....and that's only half of it.
Bloody damn idiot
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Reality check, the last republican passed budget (FY 2007) was $167 billion. THEN, the progressive communist democrats got control, TOTAL control.

2008- $455 billion deficit
2009- $1,400 billion deficit
2010- $1,300 billion deficit
2011- $1,650 billion deficit (estimate)

Democrat TOTAL - $4,805 billion deficit

Curiously, during those years the progressive communist democrats increased the federal government spending by $3,300 billion. SO it is not a revenu...TAXING PROBLEM but one of spending like drunk sailors on meth.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

Drunken sailors stop when they're out of money.
