being used at my request and the company complied.

Can I get some high fives?

I'm sure they were more than happy to comply with your request.

DUmmie: "Hey I want you to put a new roof on my house and I don't want you using that American made Georgia Pacific Plywood, I want that Chinese crap instead. "

Contractor: "Uh, okay.  You know we'll still charge the same price?"

DUmmie: "I don't care, just don't give my money to those evil Koch brothers"

Contractor: "When do you want us to start?"

Of course he gets that standard thumbs-up's and high fives.

Then there this gem with no replies:

3. What did you end up using?

Because if you avoided using a GP product, you probably avoided using a union-made product.

I've seen several threads about boycotting the Koch brothers that have ended by someone pointing out that most of their companies are unionized and that the competition isn't.  :lmao:

And no replies to that ever came.  That's what stymies the left:  The contradictions.  The only response to said contradictions is simply to stick the head in the sand.  La la la!

10. I agree, most of us can only do little things, but if a lot of us do it then they can become big
things. I'd like to be the owner of a construction company that used to order their crap, I'd stop it in a heart beat....

Isn't going to happen, and besides, then you'd be an evil business owner, making your fortune on the aching backs of the workers hammering your nails for you and hauling material around with their bloodied, calloused hands under the broiling sun; all for pennies on the dollar and no health insurance and no pensions.

Three years down the road..........................

Hello, ACME Roof Company

Moonbat: Hi. This is Miss Moonbat. My roof is leaking. Is Guido there?

Guido: This is Guido but I've never did a job for a Moonbat.

Moonbat: Yes you did. Three years ago.

Guido: Oh. You want ACME Roofing Company. They reorganized under chapter 11 and reopened as ACME Roof Company.

Moonbat: You're responsible for my water damage. You need to repair my roof.

Guido: Sorry. Under the reorganizing, We're not liable for any ACME Roofing Company complaints.

Moonbat: Damn. My roof is leaking like a sieve and I need repairs. Can you fix it?

Guido: Yeah, No problem.

Moonbat: Great. One condition though. No Koch products.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I got a hunski that says the DUmbat is not using a union roofing company nor paying prevailing wage.

Uh, usually they put shingles, tiles or hot tar on the roof. I did some roofing in my younger days and I doubt we ever used more than 3 full sheets total in the year + I worked there.  What kind of rotted out shithole is this DUmmie living in? :mental:

Contractor: A. This is a HUD home so you don't have a say  B.  If it was actually your home you are looking at 3X the price for special ordering plywood from China  C: Put some clothes on and put away your bong you dumbass piece of shit!
Dummy: OK

I've put four roofs on and all of them had multiple (up to 7) layers. We stripped them down and they all had the lathe. all of them got plywood. The last one was during hurricane season and a sheet of 3/8 cost us $24 each. I called a buddy down in the Keys and he was only paying $8/sheet. :banghead:

I've put 3 roofs on. All of them a single layer of Colorbondâ„¢ Corrugated iron (made domestically by a union company). That stuff is so easy to work with.
