I went to a career fair at TWU. Gave out a couple resumes and got a line on some good potential internships.

43 views so far, no replies.  That makes 43  DUmbasses that stayed home today that don't want to admit that they did stay home, but did so because they are unemployed.

I stayed home today.  (after I got home fromwork.
How many primative DUmmies can say that?
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I did. But then I got up every morning for 30 years to go to work so that I could.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

4. That's OK!

I'm not currently working either, I've been drawing unemployment since the Bush recession/depression.

I really don't get it, I have lots of redeemable qualities and am qualified but the job market is tough here!

Oh well, if I had been working, I would have come down with a sudden case of the FLU, or something...

Hey DUmmies--I only did 11 hours instead of 12 yesterday.  Does that one hour count?

I stayed home....but if I had known I was supposed too, I would have been out driving around trying to warm things up a bit... damn, it got cold again.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
