8. My wife can't quite let go of the GOP yet
 Every time she quotes some outrage about a Democrat, I know she got it from Fox News, and I do a quick Google search, and show her that she has been misinformed.

She hated Olbermann, but seems to be able to stay in the room while Maddow is on. I dearly love Rachel Maddow, and I sit quietly, and let my wife absorb what she's saying. I want to say "See! This is what I'm talking about!", but I don't. I just let it sink in... little by little, what's really happening. I broke silence once, and asked if she's paying attention to what's going on, and whether she sees, or condones this GOP scorched earth policy. She had to agree that they are out of control. She's a school board employee, by the way.

Lately, she's hardly said a word about politics (out of character for her).

Also about Maddow: Her coverage of Japan was awesome. She approached it with intelligence and sensitivity, while Limbaugh and Beck railed about payback for Pearl Harbor. This did not go unnoticed by my wife.

That never happened, you lying sack of shit.  Democrats lie all the time.  Who the hell would ever want to vote for one?

I don't know about Rush, but Beck was asking for people to donate to Japan and to not leave it to the government to do all the work.

There are times that I come home and MSLSD is on the tube.  I don't freak out or anything like that.  But, the very first opportunity I can get, I change it to something more educational--such as Nick Jr., or ESPN if they have Hungarian Underwater Basketweaving on.

I just did a "quick google search" on payback Pearl Harbor...the first link up was Huffington Post.  Beyond that, multiples accusations of facebook posts or twitter tweets.  Only one person was named, a writer from Family Guy.  Even CF knows that if Rush or Limbaugh had said one word that resembled this, the first 25 pages of the search would have their names on nearly every title.  How sick is it that the DUmmy has to lie through his teeth to try to convince his wife that the GOP is the problem?  She needs to  :hammer: some sense into his thick skull.
