The Party of "No"...again.
Well, bluntly speaking, madam, while control of the House of Representatives can be a useful tool, it's not
all one needs, to institute real change, real hope.
With control of the House, one can do much, but only so much.
It's like one guy having to box against three opponents, all at the same time.
In one corner of the boxing ring, there's the (R)s, with the House.
In another corner, there's the Dems, with the Senate.
In the third corner, there's the Dems again, with the White House.
In the fourth corner, there's the Supreme Court, which is still left of the American mainstream.
What's one guy gonna do, against all three at once?
Actually, for the record, I think John Boehner and the (R)-controlled House are doing pretty good, considering the odds stacked against them. Imagine how much more good they could do, with the cooperation of an (R) Senate, an (R) White House, and a Supreme Court more reflective of the American mainstream.
