cali (1000+ posts) Sat Mar-26-11 06:28 AMTHE BITTER OLD VERMONTESE CALI PRIMITIVEOriginal message So how are things now in Egypt? Looks to be a mixed bag. A sweeping ban on all protests and strikes. Not good at all. Elections with high participation and much needed reforms passing. Good. Growing influence of fundamentalists. Not so good. The outcome of Egypt's revolution is still pretty much up in the air.
SlimJimmy (486 posts) Sat Mar-26-11 07:05 AMResponse to Original message 1. I'm with you on this one. The new alliance between the military and the MB is a disturbing revelation. The last thing the people of Egypt need is another Iranian style government. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be headed in that direction. Only time will tell.
old mark (1000+ posts) Sat Mar-26-11 07:09 AMTHE OLD PRIMITIVEResponse to Original message 2. I am sure it will take time and continued effort to sort it out, but I still have hope...
I have a confession to make. I actually like the cali primitive.
Well, nothing wrong with that, I think.I go in ebbs and flows with the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive. She's definitely not your typical primitive.
DUmmy cali is a hateful old bitch, but anyone who soaks the moonbats $10 for a cup of tea isn't all bad.
