It's a beautiful day here in Eastern Massachusetts.  The sun is shining, light breeze, temp might get up into the 40s, and the census data telling us we need one less nutjob in Congress is due today!

Wow, that decision would be a whole lot easier if there was just one "R" in the bunch but too bad.  Barney Frank was very publicly said that he is not retiring (unless he lied) so the bloodbath could get REALLY ugly.

I prefer a cage match, fully clothed, with fighting irons.

Other than Frank, I don't know any MA Congress critters.  I wonder who they'll pick.

Not that it matters much.  Aren't they in until 2012 regardless?

Markey is a tool, along with Capuano (he of the "get bloody" comment), Tsongas is a blowhard like her husband.  Don't know the rest, but you can bet that with the MA Legislature the way it is, they'll gerrymand the shit out of the districts to ensure they all stay majority-Democrat.

Sparky's right - it really doesn't matter much.  It's just nice to see another vote going to someplace where it might be useful.

Its a certainty that the commonwealth will continue to chop the 495 corridor up as they do now - Thats where all of the conservatives live, and even thugh it wont change much within the state, there will be one less guaranteed blue seat in congress nationally.
