We have to confront the tea baggers. We outnumber them and we are beginning to scare them.
I got into it with a tea bagger the other night. I was at a train club meeting and he starts telling jokes that lead to the meme that tree huggers are the cause of the high gas prices.
I started to talk about the commodity trading that is adding to the cost and his head started to explode. He yelled, "your a tree hugger!" as if I was the enemy of the people. I asked him if the watches Fox and he said it is the only place that tells the truth. I said, "You're a Fox fool!"
He left in a huff and the place went quiet. No more discussion of gas prices took place.
I felt good that I got that guy out of the building.
If ever I run into a tea bagger in a group and they start into their shit, I am going to call them out. It's important because we are at the beginning stages of a movement that is larger then theirs. We have to do anything and everything to keep it going.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x673455We will see which movement is bigger come nov 2012. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of stolen election memes posted at DU then.
As for being scared of you goons, not even close. The only thing that is scary, is the policies that you support.
Even your violence and your threats aren't enough to make me quake in my boots.

2. I pissed a small group of baggers off yesterday
They were protesting the normal things, with their normal signs, you know Obama Hitler and other misspelled signs. I walked up stood next to them, raised my voice saying I"M MAD and then I started chanted RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!. They didn't take to kindly to that and threatened to "beat my ass". Thats when I walked away, I should have flagged down a police officer and had them arrested to the threats, but I figured at the time it would be better to get out of the area.

3. They don't know what to do when someone stands up to them.
Really. I'm at the point now that when I hear someone make a Teabagger remark, I simply look at them and say, "You're delusional! There's no reason to be even talking to you!" and walk away.
They've been told for so long by FOX and FOX wannabees that they're the "real Americans"; so much so they actually believe it.
When someone looks at them with both pity and disgust, it really eats away at them and makes them feel irrelevant.
Their heyday is over...
I think they actually say that to you first.

21. K&R- we should have been doing that from the start, but I am glad it is finally happening.
They NEED to see a little anger and abuse from the left.

Would be a change to see only a little anger and abuse from you goons.
I have seen so much anger, since 2001, coming from you goons.
