Is CC causing nadin's problems?

Today I began to wonder if CC may have had some impact on the DUmmies turning on nadin.

We all know that DUmmies are the smartest people on the innerwebz. We know this because they constantly tell it to everyone. We also know that they view us as ignorant knuckle draggers because they constantly tell it to everyone. We can assume that they lurk over here as most all of them suffer for a large helping of narcissism.

With the above in mind, I can imagine some DUmmie lurkers checking to see if their names are in lights at CC when they realize that there are a lot of threads that focus on nadin talking down to them like ignorant children, and we, the “ignorant knuckle draggers”, are laughing it. The smartest people on the innerwebz can’t have ignorant knuckle draggers thinking that they are too stupid to realize that they are being talked down to so they go back and attack nadin.

With any other group I might not think that I’m correct; however, the DUmmies are generally followers. All it takes is the correct lurker to be swayed and other DUmmies will fall in line due to their hive-mind.

The observers may have affected the observed. Could this be classified as the Hawthorne Effect? Regardless, I find it somewhat sad as nadin is a particularly entertaining DUmmie. While she’s not TiT, she’s the closest I’ve seen in a while.

I'm trying to make it not all nadin all the time, but "stickying" depends upon the traffic a particular thread draws.

As far as I know, I haven't ever kept anything "stickied" more than 24 hours, though.

We'll see how it goes.

No worry, it was just a side comment .  I too think we may have some effect on the DUmmies and their growing resentment towards nadin.   Now, will this thread cause the opposite to happen? Will the DUmmies become more reticent about bad mouthing nadin?

I suspect they are part jealous of the attention and partly suspicious that anyone who is noticed is actually a mole. I can't believe that they allow us to spread such dissension and misery in their ranks.  :-)

As I said frank, I'm not complaining. You're doing fine. Not since TiT has a DUmmie went so far above and beyond to entertain us.

That's my concern. It's like a horse race. Generally the first horse out the gate is going to fade before the finish line. I just don't think she can keep up this pace. TiT could have because he had that super-duper secret SEAL-Green Beret-Recon-007 training.

Personally, I love using their paranoia against them. Without confirming or denying the existence of any mole of my own, I will admit to working toward increasing their suspicion against genuine primitives. And the spotlight we shine on Nads is certainly helping with that.

It also helps the more cognizant primitives identify those within their ranks who make the rest of the hive look bad.

I think the main effect is she knows we lurk so she is lecturing us by proxy.  I think just like Marx and Engels never saw communism as something for Russians, Nadin doesn't the DUmmies are particularly worthy of her edify speeches and she can't post here because we would challenger her directly so she does the next best thing.
