Okay, so lemme get this straight--California is going to turn into a glowing wasteland from the radiation released over 6000 miles away (more like 7000 the way the jet stream travels, assuming any materials are picked up by it), but Texas, a mere 1200-1500 miles further along, will be spared any effects?
