Hmm you are on to something if death is a disability then we can not deny the dead voters their votes for the Democratic party.
The son did not report her death and was illegally collecting the SS payments, that were meant for her while she was living. When you expire so does your SS payments. It may not be right on principle that we pay into SS and we can't pass that money on to our heirs, however it is fraud under the current laws.
Now dear freeper, what is the definition of living, moving into unknown territory here.
Is this the definition of a person who has a heart beat but brain dead. or someone in a coma that needs to be fed to keep them alive.?
Interesting the Terry Shrivo case, her body was alive and she was brain dead, yet was she still alive by medical facts.?? Heart and blood pressure were normal, no disease to her body, only problem was her brain was dead. So what to do with people that go into a coma and do not react to anything. Perhaps they have some brain activity but for all the world they are actually dead. They have to be fed and cared for just in case they wake up.
To go one step closer then with all the knowledge we have, a new born baby can be considered dead as the brain has not kicked in yet but they have a heart beat and blood pressure.
Back to the young man who kept his mother after her heart stopped beating and brain died. A few Asian cultures do this, and even bring a plate of food to the deceased for a year or more.
What the Hell are we not to embrace diversity???
