Know-It-All DUmmy Nadinbrzhzhzhski Spins A Starbuck Bouncy
« on: March 11, 2011, 02:43:31 PM »
DUmmy know-it-all nadinbrzhzhzhski spins a little bouncy tale. See if you can tell its purpose. (Hint: It has nothing to do with Wisconsin.)

So I went to the starbucks near where my sis lives
she lives inland, pretty red...

So I am working on my IPAD on a novel... and lady comes over. I'm wearing a red T-SHIRT...

"Is that about Wisconsin?" Low, almost conspiratorial.

"Yes."

:THANK YOU!"

She is a local teacher, and as she put it our unions are next... and she is right.

So talked a little about organizing and all that.

Remember this is a very red area of town.

I was surprised.

Got it? Actually, there are two answers that give you full credit. First, know-it-all wants the DUmmies to envy her for allegedly owning an iPad. Second, and maybe even more important, know-it-all wants the DUmbasses to realize that she is so supremely intelligent, she's working on a novel. A novel! Yes, I know it will never be published. In fact, it doesn't even exist. Oh, and yes, it's all unlikely, since she's told us she's unemployed and Mr. know-it-all is a lousy provider, but it was time to be sure the DUmmies were in their proper inferior places.

14. Just a red shirt? No Wisconsin-specific verbiage or symbology?
I'm surprised - you have a remarkably perspicacious clientele at your local java emporium...

DUmmy petronius dares to question know-it-all nadin's truthiness!

15. Yeah, but nad, I really think it may SEEM like more to us because we're focused
on it and notice those who are == kind of like the new car thing - you get a new car and suddenly notice how MANy like them are on the street.

I agree some are awakening, but not as many as I'd think by hanging out here and watching/listening to the 'progressive' media. I'm shocked when, if I broach the subject, people just blow it off, pffft, we've got enough to worry about here in our state, I can't be bothered with what's happening in Wisconsin/Ohio/Libya/Egypt. Absolutely instantly makes my blood pressure skyrocket. I want to SHAKE them and scream at them! I'm sure that would be helpful.

DUmmy gately brags about his lunacy, oblivious to the fact that admiring the iPad and feeling awe at know-it-all's novel are the purposes of this thread.

2. Starbucks has been firing union organizers including here in Omaha

In the past DUers didn't seem to mind that. Things sometimes change very fast.
There's a deleted subthread where another DUmmy mentioned this, and the condescending nadin welcomed him to her "i**y" list.

6. Trust me, they are not my favorite
lousy coffee, expensvie coffee, lousy working conditions and no unions... plus they have been trying to drive my LOCAL coffee shop out of bidness for YEARS.. alas in some places it is only them or mickey Ds... oy what a choice. At least they got wifi

Wifi! Get it, DUmbass? Wifi! You're supposed to be talking about her iPad, not a lousy coffee shop union.

I'm not a bit surprised. Even red communities usually have a few enlightened citizens...
And then the CalPig went back to her vibrator.

9. I hope it does not get there
it is not romantic. But if they push enough it will. We are at a crisis the likes we have not seen in living memory.

Finally!! DUmmy TBC is slow, but finally, at last, someone notices the whole purpose of DUmmy nadinbrzhzhzhzhski's thread!

She has an iPad, DUmbasses! She's working on a novel, idiots! She has money! She's smarter than you!

Well damn!  I had a red tee shirt on yesterday and didn't get one comment.

Funny, in SD, as in most other heavily military towns, "Red Shirt Fridays" show your support for the military, not some commie-shitbag whiny ass union hacks.

I watched this a few days ago and I knew something was up.

Even NASA is in on the "movement".  They're all wearing RED shirts.

Exactly right, NHS,  Red shirt fridays are for the troops, not the commies.  Everybody around here knows that.

No, they're not. I used to work for them, and the conditions are decent, wages are fair, benefits are good. Why lose some of that tip money to union dues?

Why?  So she can be like the other whackjob who claimed "the man" came to his door with a gun and threatened him with death if he tried to publish HIS Magnum Fecal Opus?

I'm wearing a red t-shirt today, just because it was the first one I happen to grab out of my closet.  Ran several errands and went to lunch with my husband (Island Burger for those "in the know"). No one came up to me and said anything.

Uh, well...given the new "living arrangements" I'm going to be having in a few months, probably pretty unlikely unless it's for a relative's funeral.  I take great pleasure in stating that with the exception of a couple of brief layovers at LAX, I've yet to step foot in CA since 2007.

I had a maui burger (guacamole). It is my favorite.  It was their passion ice tea (I got some to go) that I spilled on my commie red t-shirt.

Oh and I have an iPad. There is no way in hell that I could type a novel on it.  DUmmies lie.......
