RepealPledgePDF of the Steve King-Michele Bachmann PledgeDemocrats shadow-funded ObamaCare in the Stimulus Bill with $105 Billion. We have until this next Wednesday to write and call our representatives to tell them to vote NO on the current legislation proposing to cut ONLY $61B in new spending which doesnt address the over $105B already appropriated and hidden in the Obamacare bill already passed by the last congress.
If we dont stand up now, this will be impossible to extricate after the next election. Call your member of Congress (or any member of congress) and say, "Vote No On the Continuing Resolution (CR) because it doesn't cut funding for Obamacare!" Please, please, please get involved now. Otherwise we are going to get this putrid $61B cut now proposed which does nothing towards defunding Obamacare. The newly elected republicans promised they would defund obamacare if they could not repeal it, but the leadership (Beohner, McConnell and Cantor) did not get the memo - obviously. Reps Steve King and Michele Bachmann joins 37 other lawmakers to make the pledge ... now it is up to us. They cant do it alone. Please join me and make the call!
