The RW complains that collective bargaining keeps states and municipalities for renegotiating their contracts. Case in point the teacher's union in WI has been forcing some towns to buy union-based insurance at prices hundreds of dollars a year per employee higher than what the city could buy for the exact same coverage on the open market. Not only does that starve the city of fiscal resources for other services and/or increase the tax burden on "working families" the plain fact of the matter is that money props-up political cronies who raise taxes and write laws forcing cities to accept these nonsense demands.

After a month of watching your screeching I'm still not sure what evil is supposed to befall the teachers. I'm willing to wager that a year from now no teacher will be left starving in the streets. Teachers will not suddenly be dying by the scores from industrial accidents in the classroom. Nor shall they be driven to work at the end of a lash.

I am pretty sure a lot of campaign donations to the fleebaggers will dry up once union dues are no longer compulsory.

So what is the great evil that will be visited upon teachers now that collective bargaining has been ended? What will you point to in 2012 and tell the voters of WI, "See! See! We told you this would happen!"


FOLLOW-ON QUESTION #1: If the unions were to keep collective bargaining and force a municipality into maintaining pay and benefits that compel ever higher tax rates what should a good liberal do if the requisite tax rates force a working family to lose their home do to tax seizure?

FOLLOW-ON QUESTION #2: What's wrong with voluntarily paying union dues? Why should anyone have to pay money to go to work?

What is it, 26 States don't have collective bargaining? the federal government doesn't have collective bargaining? so what's the gripe? I think they just want an excuse to protest.

Their union handlers need to justify their existence so they whip their followers up into a frenzy to make them loyal union drones, ready to go out and protest anything the union tells them to protest.

They just know Republicans came up with it, so it must be bad.

Yep, they don't want to admit that Uncle Sugar Daddy is just about busted and can't afford them if the check book is going to get balanced.  They're leeches, they don't care that the system will collapse if they keep sucking blood out of it, nor do they care.
