Meet the Web's 10 most hated people
Radar
By Neel Shah

The Internet may provide endless hours of productivity-killing diversion and free-ish pornography, but that's not all it offers. The Web also gives us a cloak of anonymity, allowing every man, woman, and child to expel anonymous bile on strangers—be they the real-life TV celebrities we can't stand, or infamous figures brought to the nation's attention via YouTube. Below, Radar's list of the 10 people the Web really, really loves to hate.

10) Celebrity chef Rachel Ray
9) Spurts commentator Tony Kornheiser
8) Comedian David Cross
7) Daily Kos, aka Markos Moulitsas
6) The cast of internet show Quarterlife
5) Mediabistro founder Laurel Touby
4) Soldier David Motari (The Puppy Over Cliff video)
3) Columnist Julia Allison
2) John Fitzgerald Page ("Worst Person In The World")
1) Lori Drew (mother who drove young girl to suicide via MySpace)

====================================================

Not surprised by who is number one, you guessed it, Lori Drew. Fred Phelps should be on the list too.

10) Celebrity chef Rachel Ray

Why would anyone hate Rachael Ray?!  :mental:

I don't hate her. I can understand the founder of The Daily Kos. They also forgot Michael Crook.

I haven't heard of most of those people.  This list doesn't seem that great...

Rachel Ray is not a chef.  She reminds people of that all the time.

People are jealous of Rachel Ray.  She is successful and loves doing what is making her incredibly rich.

Other than Rachel Ray, I don't see anyone else that surprises me.  The omission of Ann Coulter is a shock.

She does have a very annoying voice, but her visual goodness more than makes up for it since I don't have to listen to her in real life.

I don't know half of those people.

But, I can't stand RR. She's not a chef. She's not even a cook. She's an "assembler" who got lucky and also stumbled into a TV career. I really gave her a shot. I wanted to like her. I have tried numerous recipes that she's made on 30 minute meals. None of them impressed me or my family.

I'm not jealous of her fame. She's filled a void, that's all. But I do find her annoying. That voice, the "yum-o!" and the "EVOO" just puts me over the edge.

I'd much rather watch a real chef.

Okay, I'm done. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

One of the winners of life's lottery!  Let's take it all away from her!!!!! /DUmmy mode.

Honestly, I never heard of her before this list.  But really the people I hate most from the list is the cast of Quaterlife.  Never heard of them but they must deserve it.

But David Cross was really funny in Arrested Development.  Why all the hate for the Blue Man who has issues with nudity?

Kornheiser should be ranked higher. Has the man even played a sport well besides Friday night canasta with his mother and her sewing circle?

I can't believe how many people I never even heard of are so hated.  What's a spurts commentator?  Is it like a gum with a liquid center?

He works for the Washington Post, ESPN's PTI and is a color-man on Monday Night Football.

Oh, okay, I don't watch monday night football unless the packers are playing or two rivals.  There was a real annoying guy in the lead up to the Packer Cowboy game but it wasn't this guy.

This guy looks like David Cross with a little fuzzy face and no glasses.

I'll join you re: Rachel Ray. I wish her continued luck in her career, but she annoys me, too. I'm waiting for the moment when she and the rest of the world "get it" that she isn't 19 anymore, and that the nasal Heather act was never cute in the first place. Sandra Lee, Paula Deen, Nigella Lawson and Ina Garten are more my (self-made, accomplished) cooking ladies. And although somewhat less self-made with a family like that, I like Giada DeLaurentis very much, also.

See, I guess you have to be a guy to have this opinion. Everyone assumes I'm jealous or something.  :-) I can actually cook. And I don't have a "I gargle razor blades and smoke Marlboro Reds" voice. I have a very sweet southern accent.

Paula Deen is like going home. I could watch her all day. Granted her Southern GA accent is a bit thicker than my Mid-South accent, she still reminds me of Mama. Love her. Ina is a great chef but a bit pretenious. I think she's trying to kill poor Jeffery lol. Her food is wonderful if you want to be decadent though. Nigella is awesome. I could watch her all day. She's not only a talented chef, she gorgeous and approachable. Sandra Lee? I just read her biography. She's a bit, um, off kilter. And while she's got some great ideas for the busy cook, she's just an assembler too.

I love Giada. I could watch her all day. We call her giant punkin head but she can cook! She attended the Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and had her own catering business. Her last name and looks helped I'm sure though.  She also seems likeable unlike RR. Their Iron Chef match was good. Giada was robbed!!!!

Okay, I'm done ragging on The Food Network for now.  :evillaugh: Or I can come back and critque the rest.  :lmao:

Okay, Rachel Ray, I'm not a big fan but not enough to scorn her on the interwebs.  I just don't watch her show, I find her annoying.

Kos, not a surprise, even people on DU hate him but those are mostly Hilbots.

Okay, I didn't know who that soldier was, but I read what he did and yeah, I don't like him either.  Throwing a puppy off a cliff, disgusting!

That John Fitzgerald Page, that was hilarious!  He deserved to have people make fun of him.

Lori Drew, deserves what she gets.

I can care less about Rachel Ray. The Kos is just plain vile. He wrote how he mourned the death of Seung-Hui Cho, the Virginia Tech shooter. They should of had Fred Phelps and Michael Crook because they are worthless scumbags. And yes, Lori Drew is lowlife.

I'm glad to see Motari on the list, but I haven't found any more updates on the story, so I'm assuming it's still under investigation.

Lori definitely deserves to be #1.    She has shown no remorse for her involvement in what happened., and as others have already said, deserves what she gets.
