Revolution: my poem for the fighters in Wisconsin, and everywhere...
I hear the birds call outside my window
and the news says we’re in for
a revolution
how can it be?
Because you people think there's a new revolution every freaking week!
The world is quiet
outside my window
is there a war brewing?
Peg, darlin' you're in California, the only war you guys ever experience are against evil corporations, farmers who actually expect their lives to be worth more than a stupid sucker fish, and normal families that have both a mother and a father(of the opposite sex through nature not surgery)...married...living together in the same house.
I read the news and it sounds so dire
but the sea was calm
the sky is tranquil the sunset beautiful
The news is dire but don't worry it will all be better in 2012. Oh, the water's only calm if you aren't near the exploding Pacific Ocean, you tool!
how can there be
war
Because your president is the biggest ***** to ever sit in the White House and the world is exploding because a lack of leadership in the ONE DAMN COUNTRY the world looks to for leadership. In spite of their bitching, the world likes it better when we act like the adult. Oh sure they stomp their feet and call us names, but so does your average 2 year old when they're told "no".
the cool spring breeze
curls past my arm
but yet you say
we are in
for
war
See above.
I’m not afraid
of this
revolution
It’s time

I should say so...I'm waiting for a revolution, too! I keep hearing on all the commercials how this or that product has a new formula that will revolutionize cleaning but every time I try a new product it hardly ever works the way the new "revolutionary" formula says it will! I blame the corporations! Especially the nonunion ones! Death to corporate whores! Revolution! Let's all write bad poetry and bitch on the Internets!!!
