  That's "us," you government school "teacher."  Also, it is spelled Cum Laude.  I got one myself.  You generally put that on a resume, so you'd better learn to spell it. 

In the OP, I counted up 22 uses of the word "I."  Reminds me of a certain Kenyan I know.  Her composition level is that of a third grader writing the requisite essay on how he spent his summer vacation. 

When people kick their own threads, I find it exceedingly embarrassing.

My "life plan" had me as a teacher too.  I'm a soprano, and my brother plays the Piano Sax and Clarinet.  So I guess I am not completely alike once-removed.

Reading between the lines, she sounds like a disaster as a history teacher.  All about feelings, with a distaste for facts.  And NCLB had Bush's label on it, but it was Fat Teddy's bill.
