Republicans in our state assembly pulled a fast one to get an "instant" vote on the Imperial Walker's scheme.

Republicans in the House will shut down our government, and blame democrats.

Republicans in state legislatures are making murder legal "to protect babies."

Propaganda is rampant, even on so-called "unbiased" news networks.

Can anyone give me ANY good news?

36. We can't compare and compete about who has it worse.. that wasn't my point at all.
   
We all have different amounts of inner strenghth, and what is unbearable suffering for one, doesn't hold the same pain for another, and other factors.

I would NEVER claim that any suffering is worse.. it is a matter of caring about ALL, and not ignoring those who have it bad, but are considered "beneath".

I appreciate that you think of others. That is all I ask.

Thinking of those who lack the necessities, and taking ACTION.

There are days I am sad about not having a job.. but then I move on and get over it.  Because I know bobo has it much worse than myself.  ::)

**** that.  I have enough problems in my life, yet there's a lot of joy in my life, too.  Some All of those problems are incredibly minor.  Yet, The Heiress wants to have me chase her around the apartment almost every ten minutes.  The sun is brightly shining, and maybe it'll melt some of this effin' snow that has fallen in the last 60 hours or so.  I'm going to be able to sing again this week, as we didn't have a lot of practices over the last week (schools were out, and choir directors were on vacation), even though I've got one of the sopranos mad at me (the "keeper of the music"--she found something in my cubby that I had said wasn't there).  If I want things to change, I have to change to bring that change into my life.

"I'm only happy when it rains" pretty much describes them to a t.

When I start feeling depressed, I look at my life and figure out what I actually have control over, and try to do something to move towards my goals.  Last weekend I was feeling a bit depressed, so I rearranged my bedroom to give myself a new perspective  :)

I'm afraid with me, you just have to settle for the doom and gloom, which is the only thing that really motivates me. I just don't think its right to be satisfied with what I have, until everyone else is satisfied as well.
