I really like this guy's no nonsense approach
http://www.maine.gov/tools/whatsnew/index.php?topic=Gov_Radio_Addresses&id=202331&v=article

Seahorse from one Mainer to another Hugs and a high 5.

Now for those that pick on the French and the Canadians, how can anyone believe either are stupid or numb.??

I would believe Sparky is hiding under his bed when those Ignorant Mainers of French decent make more sense then most any other Governor of any State be it Rep. or DEM .

Maine is not a dumb State, the people are not dumb and they chose an amazing man for Governer.

For Sparky and his fan club, do not hide or ignore the facts that as ---As Maine goes so goes the Nation--

It would be nice to see more state and local governments stand up to these union and stop bowing down to their black mail.

Excellent post Tania. ^5  It is indeed refreshing to read those well though out, poignant words. Maybe the Grand State of Maine can make a comeback from the abyss.  Let us hope.

Here is a similar sentiment:

The progressives may be in for a very rude awakening on this issue.

By the way Sweetie, what was the percentage of vote for LePage? Hummmmmmm?????

Once again, vesta--thanks for proving my point.

Eh--THROW ME DOWN THE STAIRS MY SHOES!!!!

The only time I'll ever hide from a Maineiac is on the first weekend of the month when they all have their recharged EBT cards and are heading en masse for the nearest New Hampshire Walmart or Market Basket.

Ya know, some days I can't help thinking I should feel quilty about all the Manieacs and Ma$$holes who flock here to spend their taxpayer donated money on cheap booze and cigarettes.  It passes quickly when I think what my tax bill would look like without it.  Party on! :yahoo:

That's the thing, he got voted in at 38%, the other 62% were divided among Libby, Cutler, Moody and Scott.
Surprisingly or not, Maine did not want Libby who is a Democrat.
Former Governor Baldacci was also a Democrat

Don't kid yourself.  They want liberals there, they just couldn't decide which one.  That's the only way LePage got elected.

Persxacly Mr. sparky, persxactly, and it bares repeating.   62% of Maineacs are just that, maniacs, liberal loons, members of the dependent class.  Have you ever been to Northern Maine?  Blueberries, potatoes and coffee brandy.  Well maybe a bit of an exageration, they also have seaworms and lobster. :-)

I voted for Lepage, and I am not a Liberal. There are some that I work with however.... ::). Right now there is an issue with Mainecare. Something about Mainecare was not reimbursing Drs or other medical facilities. Now patients are responsible for those medical bills. What will happen I don't know.....

That puts you in the other 38 percent and, quite sadly, in the minority.  Old Baldie and the dims did nothing for Maine, it was mostly to Maine.  And that is just another very sad fact.  I was born in Maine but now happily reside in Porch-mouth, New Hamster, surrounded by a most eclectic collection of loony liberals and it is still better than paying the freight to haul the dullards of Northern Maine around.  Too bad Maine is such a rotten example.  The Maritime provinces would love to escape the grasp of O(MG) Canada.
