K&R if YOU would take part in a National General Strike

It may have come to that, folks.

We may ALL have to put ourselves on the line.

Would YOU go there?

Don't you have to have a job in order to strike?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I noticed this "Ken Burns" poser poster has a picture of Gabrielle Giffords for an Avatar. Suddenly the leftists forget how much they ridiculed and vilified her at every turn for being a pro 2nd amendment blue dog democrat. Now she's their hero?

Yes, I would go there. I would go there if I could be the guy in the turret atop the riot control vehicle with the water cannon. You betcha!

I doubt anyone would notice a government general strike except for those on the government teat.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Do you remember a few years ago when one of the alphabet news shows went to the federal offices in D.C. on a Friday....hell, the places were empty...they were supposed to be hard at work but everybody had gone home early........ :lmao:. Thank god for a union or they would have been fired.

I had a friend doing some consulting work for our county. He had project deadlines that the regular union workers did not so he would put in extra hours. His comment "You could shoot a gun at 4:00 in any building and have no fear of hitting anyone."

Let me know when you're doing this in Las Vegas.  Make sure the strike is going on in July.  I'd love to sell you $6 bottled water that I only paid .50 cents for.  ;)

Jess, I'm ashamed at you.  Charging $6 for a 50-cent bottle of water.

(I'd charge at least $7.  $8 if I knew it was a DUmb****.)

$6 for room temperature, $15 for cold water to pay for the carbon footprint of refrigeration.

H5--but I'd up it to $8 for room temperature.  $6 for tepid to warm.  The $15 would be without ice--that'd cost another $5 for the carbon footprint, and the high-quality refrigerant.

But for $5.50, I'll piss on the DUmb****'s back if they're on fire. :pisscontest:

That's the price without my made up tax rate.  It would equal out to $22.50 after tax.

Only if a limb is on fire.  Torso?  That's $15.  Head?  $25.

Jess, that's the spirit--but why carry around change?  You should round it up to $25.

So true.  I would only have to sell two bottles of water for a full tank of gas.  Sa-weeeeet.  Forget finding a job.  I am going into the business of overcharging DUmmies for everything.

Well, you have a good niche identified, but there's a lot of competition there.  Good thing DUmmie stupidity is limitless.

It's also a very risky job.  I could contract the stupidz from the DUmmies.

One minor flaw in your otherwise brilliant plan, most DUmmies don't have 2 nickles to rub together after the second of the month. They always visit their dealers, then go to Costco and load up on Cheetos on the first.

Should open up a few entry-level jobs when the few of these greybeards that are actually employed anywhere go to the demonstration instead of to work, and get fired.

Perfect time to bring back the mob.  I tell them they can pay me Friday and if they don't, the mob will be at their door.  I wasn't living in Vegas when the mob ruled this town, but it seemed kind of cool.  :)
