with pointing out that the Political Elites in this country ARE TO THE RIGHT OF THE PUBLIC that elects them.

So be it... THE ARE, live with it, or not, I really do not give a **** any more.

I am still scratching my head at some things here... but that is another matter.

Now read this again, process it, digest it.

THE POLITICAL ELITES IN THIS COUNTRY ARE TO THE RIGHT OF HER CITIZENS AND ARE ENACTING FASCIST POLICIES. THEY WANT YOU TO WORK FOR A PITTANCE AND TO BE HAPPY ABOUT IT. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT PARTY AT THIS MOMENT. THE ELITES ARE TO THE RIGHT OF YOU. AND THEY WILL ONLY WAKE UP WHEN THE SMELLING SALTS OF GENERAL STRIKES AND PEOPLE IN THE STREETS FINALLY HIT THEM.

This is the course of US History.

LETTERS and the ballot box ain't gonna do it.

And yes a few Dems are NOT to the right, but the LEADERSHIP is.

2. Good questions and I hope I can answer them   
   
1.- Politicos running for the Presidency make statements the first time around not realizing that some of them cannot be fulfilled. No, not because they do not want to... as Carter told me, over a bowl of beans many years ago... the security bubble is not something you can conceive off until you are in it. So on that one I will give him a little benefit of doubt... why I said... MAKE A CLEAR STATEMENT. I get it why he cannot physically do it... but he can do the NEXT BEST THING.

2.- Some politicos are that craven... and I have come to the conclusion that he is your average politico. I came to that conclusion a while ago, well before this mess.

3.- Again going to that conversation to Carter. When you get to the Presidency there are things that happen when you are in the office that he could not even fathom before taking the oath... Also he realized what I came to realize years later in my study of history. The President is at the center of forces that he and soon she, really are not in control off. They may be the "most powerful" men in the world (not really) really means that the office is partly what you make of it, but there are real limits to what you can do in the office. After all, when it comes to labor-business issues they need to balance two forces that really oppose each other on ideological grounds. It would make sene they work together, but for ideological reasons they don't. Incidentally this dynamic goes back to the oh 16th century... so changing this will be difficult.

4.- See JFK... yes he was killed by a lone gunman... but... the environment at the time was very similar to the environment today... when was the last time you heard a man ask a sitting congressman "who is going to kill Obama?" (Happened today)... ah yes 1963. That environment was created by the Jonn Birch society in the early 1960s (See kock brothers) and it is now encouraged by Freedom Works (See Kock brothers) and the Tea Parties. (See Koch brothers)

All that said, while I get it why he cannot physically put on shoes and march down in the picket line... it is time to get off the damn fence and stand with the people. Yes I will reluctantly vote for this tool, he is marginally better... but there are no illusions. UNTIL WE the people stand up and take to the streets... wait it is happening... so if we keep this up for as long as it takes, the politicos, who are to the right of us... will get behind the parade. But it will take a lot of sacrifice, and I am wondering if we have it in us? I suspect we do... given the last two weeks... but people need to realize it is up to US.

I think DUmmy nadinbrzhzhzhzhski is pretty remarkable. How can she spend a hard day protesting...something, and rioting over....something, and still have the energy to make hundreds of condescending, arrogant, comically self-adoring posts at the DUmp? We know she's made it a full time job to keep the DUmbasses fully informed of her brilliance and superiority, but what about her protesting and striking and rioting responsibilities? Is it possible that she isn't exactly doing her share of the protesting, and striking, and rioting?

So if Nadalickofsense is the be-all-end-all expert on everything what Sunday morning talking heads shows has she been on? Surely someone of her importance and vast intelligence is in high demand in the media world. She needs to let us in on her next show tour schedule so we can be in as much awe of her as she is.  :-)

This Nadin character is obviously an attention whore.  She craves that positive feedback she knows she'll receive in a very selective audience.  She reminds me of Obama hiring actors to be in the crowd during his speeches.  She would be crushed if every faced with an opposing view.
