I don't get what the Dem's are thinking.  What is their endgame?  It sure seems like a lose/ lose situation for them.  On one hand they will have to come back and vote sometime and they will lose.  On the other hand the longer they stay away they look like petulant babies throwing a fit.  What are they gaining from this action?

Being media darlings.  Most of the old-school reporters get all misty-eyed thinking about Vietnam era protests, so this is as close as they're going to see.

Another group who took their ball and went home?

Funny how they don't want to play when the majority is on the Republican side, huh?  Maybe the Indiana senators are hanging out with the Wisconsin senators in Illinois.

If Indiana wants them back, they should do what Wisconsin is considering -- passing a few laws that don't need a quorum but just a simple majority of voting members - Voter ID would be a way to get those Dems back in house in a nanosecond..

do these ****ers still collect their pay and perks when they throw these childish antics?  Tell me another job where if you don't like how things are going that you are allowed to just not show up and still keep your job?
I know, right?
We're probably better off these losers walked off anyways. They can't take away more of our rights and spend any more money.

That is the one good thing that comes out of this.  It's a big thing.

Dear Lurking DUmmies,

A point for your little brains to ponder...in 2006 and again in 2008, did Republicans run away to other states or not show up in Congress when the Democrats were in charge?  No?  Really?  Pray tell, why was that, you might ask?

Might it have something to do with the fact they still had a JOB to do in representing their constituents?  Or perhaps it was the knowledge that acting like little ****ing children wasn't going to serve anyone very well?

Chew on that one for a while.

Dems are relying on the union slush fund to get them elected again. Dems always believe the way to office is thru more money than the other guy. I don't know how they don't realize that union membership is a mere 13% of the work force. Unless of course they can get the SEIU to control all the voing machines in key areas like they did with Dirty "Hairless" Reed. Between that and ACORN, they believe they're in office for life!
