Andrew Cuomo gets heckled
« on: February 21, 2011, 08:58:55 PM »
We were just talking yesterday about how interesting it's going to be when Democrats have to start making cuts, Cuomo ran on property tax relief etc. and he got heckled at a speech yesterday:

Quote
A radical New York City councilman and other protesters disrupted a Sunday night speech by Andrew Cuomo, the state’s budget-cutting Democratic governor, reports local news channel YNN.

Supporters of councilman Charles Barron, a former Black Panther who ran for governor last year, shouted Cuomo down with chants of “tax the rich” and “stop the cuts.”

He has said, sincerely I think, that to be the tax capital of the nation is a losing proposition.  He seems to know that when you tax the hell out of people, they just leave.  It's true, no matter how many DUmmies and their ilk don't want to believe it.  So much of our population ran screaming for the hills, that we lost 2 representative districts.

Quite a contrast with his father who never saw a tax he didn`t adore.

Shockingly he's been pretty good so far, total opposite of his Father.

Maybe they are slowly learning that taxing the hell out of people doesn't work.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.
