Is it not possible that rabbits are simply misunderstood? Perhaps all they're fighting for are equal rights from the oppressive Ptarmigan's. I think they all should just be friends.

Both Rabbits and birds shit anywhere they feel like it. BOTH make a good food source. Rabbits tend to be a little more "cuddly".

You mean the genus, Lagopus, which means "rabbit or hare feet". Lagopus was given by scientists many years ago and thought it would be funny to refer to it as "rabbit foot". Ptarmigans have no connection with rabbits. Besides Lagopus is a derogatory slur against ptarmigans. Ptarmigan comes from the word tarmachan, which means "croaker" or "mountaineer", a very fitting name.

If it makes you feel any better I have a leather vest with about 50 rabbit feet key chains sewn to it as border of the back waist and down the front and on the arms.  Instead of leather fringe I used the feet I bought in a large box  at a garage sale for $20.00.

I have moved on today now I am looking for Ptarmigan feathers to turn into roach clips to sell at the Gay Parades.
