Groups explore recalling missing Democrats

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Groups are taking the first steps toward recalling two Democratic state senators who have fled the Capitol to avoid a vote on an anti-union bill.

A group of citizens in Kenosha say they plan to file paperwork on Monday to form an exploratory committee to recall Robert Wirch of Pleasant Prairie.

In Eagle River, another group is preparing to file paperwork to form a committee to explore recalling Jim Holperin of Conover.

Wirch and Holperin are two of the 14 Senate Democrats boycotting the state Capitol to avoid a vote on Republican Gov. Scott Walker's bill to strip public workers of their collective bargaining rights.

All 14 of them need to be recalled for gross dereliction of duty.

I can't believe I am hearing liberals say that they are taking a stand.  Calling them "The Wisconsin 14" like they are some black civil rights heroes or something :lmao:

What sort of majority citizen vote would they need to accomplish this recall?  Recalls are very hard to do.

In the age of T.E.A. the American people might not accept this kind of behavior from officials that are supposed to serve and defend the Constitution. 0bama Regime or no, a recall effort of the Dimwit Senators for malfeasance is absolutely reasonable.

Actually, it was a hotel that has an indoor waterpark and a Cracker Barrel across the street...

For a brief time Thursday, a Rockford hotel and water park took on a circus like atmosphere as a band of runaway Wisconsin legislators milled about the lobby and parking lot, a news chopper hovered overhead and a TV reporter chased a leprechaun.

It was enough to make Bernie Thiteca, who owns a local factory, order a second glass of white wine at the hotel bar, bemoaning the invading Wisconsinites who brought such chaos across the border into Illinois.

"I think they're traitors," Thiteca said of the protesting Democrats who fled their state to prevent a Republican-backed vote that would slash Wisconsin public worker pensions. "Whether you're GOP or Democrat, doesn't matter. Never leave the battlefield."

Story

Aww yes I see. Your right. It was a hotel with a bar in it. And a leprechaun. Guess they were all feelin kinda 'Irish' when their votes were needed ... so they split for Illinois.

All 14 of them need to be recalled arrested, extradited, tried, convicted and jailed for gross dereliction of duty.

In true form, the Democratic Party has identified their enemies and deployed their troops:

Arizona, Wisconsin, the Tea Party.

Not on the enemies list:

Iran, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Communist China ...
Reagan bankrupted the Soviet Empire ...
