hedgehog (1000+ posts) Tue Feb-15-11 11:45 AMOriginal message So yesterday I made my husband a perfect cheese cake, then topped it with sweet cherries, then for a pièce de résistance, sprinkled slice almonds over the cherries....then the little caterpillars in the almonds started moving.......so he had a cheesecake with raspberry topping!

hedgehog (1000+ posts) Wed Feb-16-11 03:09 PMResponse to Reply #2 7. Most raw foods and cooked grains actualy contain insect eggs. Let the stored corn meal, flour, crackers, etc get too warm and they'll hatch out.

cbayer (1000+ posts) Tue Feb-15-11 01:29 PMResponse to Original message 4. So glad you caught it! I have, in the past, noticed too late the invaders in various stored foods.

Let's see.....why is it the DUmmies are always running into insects in their foods? Are they trying to "live off the earth"?
"The nation that couldn’t be conquered by foreign enemies has been conquered by its elected officials" odawg Free Republic in reference to the GOP Elites who are no difference than the Democrats
Maybe they came out of those cherries. I had to help a neighbor lady pit fresh cherries once when I was a kid, and sometimes there was a worm in them. I never ate cherry pie again. Frank, your headline was funny.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
Caterpillars?
Democrat women are just dirty housekeepers.
What are the implications for Vegans in all this?
