Hell hath no fury like a female on-air personality scorned

In this local news clip, there is clearly a backstory to explain the awkward and hilarious tension between anchor Belinda Heggen and sports correspondent Mark Aiston. After Aiston finishes his report and discusses his amazement with a small trophy, Heggen icily declares he shouldn’t be so shocked because he has experience with small things.

The conversation:

Quote
Aiston: And Belinda, I just can’t understand how something so small can be so impressive?

Heggen: Well Mark, you would know about that. Thank you very much.

It’s hard to interpret her feisty retort as anything but that of an angry co-worker who was once possibly much more. However, if this is over-analyzing the clip, it’s still amusing to watch the sports guy’s stunned silence after she delivers the “small” low blow.

"Yes, it's not so impressive when you try to place it in a gigantic, oversized room but it does work better in a smaller room."

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Interesting . Its unusual for on air talent to go that far with taking shots at their coworkers like that. I'm betting someones a scorned woman and she felt it was ok to take a pot shot at her former love interest. Something like that could get them fired for that kind of thing at the Station management tends to get upset when anything not related to the news goes out over the air.

That being said I was I could upload a file of an news reported on a local station saying something about how everyone needs a spanking but I can't. It was just an innocent slip up but the way it comes out is funny.

Oh, owww.  Don't screw (up) where you work.
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.
