Bill Dance and my son
« on: February 12, 2011, 04:30:01 PM »
Me and my son go fishing all the time.  I took him today to meet Bill Dance after the Pinewood Derby.

He acted like a little school girl meeting Justin Bieber  :lmao:

So, how did he do in the derby?

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

he came in 4th.  I hate hate hate the damn derby.  You have all these kids that bring out these masterpieces that you know their parent's created, the kid had no part in them.  Hell, they can't even find their damn car because they don't recognize it.  Just don't get why parent's don't let their kids do the work honestly.  Our son did it ALL, and you can tell, it's the most Godawful looking thing but he did it.

Bill Dance just makes me laugh. He's so fun to watch.

Bravo, Gina. That's the whole point - have the kids do the work and the leadership. Parents are there for guidance and transportation, mostly.

God forbid. Just the slap, then. As long as it results in one more in the "bitchslap" column.
